1. Probes and wrecks - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Wrecks are not probeable. Neither are NPC ships. You need to probe out the player's ship, or their drones, at the mission site. If it's in deadspace, player ships are extremely hard to probe, but drones are another story. It's why I rarely use dro...

2. Can you bookmark mining locations? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You need to either be at the spot, or some bookmarkable object needs to be at the spot. If you're just wanting to bookmark the spot where you're at, open up People and Places and click the 'Add Bookmark' at the bottom of the window. If it's a book...

4. Questions about being naughty - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you steal ore or loot wrecks, Concorde will do nothing. The owner, however, has 15 minutes to kill you, unmolested by Concorde. And if you fight back, Concorde stays out of it. Abandoned drones are just that, and have no owner. Check info on ...

5. Rejected agent mission? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Simply by opening a conversation with an agent, you've triggered the accept/reject mission timer. The only exception is when that agent also has an LP offer for you and you either accept or reject that offer. I'm guessing, though, that since it's ...

6. Calculating Damage - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
As I recall, modifiers are additive within a single bonus source, and multiplicative between sources. So in normal english, this means that you'd add the multipliers for, say, the turret, getting the 15%, and likewise the 10% for the ship bonus. T...

8. Destroyer Question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: ToranagaSama ..... For NPC ratting, imvho, a Destroyer just isn't tough enough or fast enough. One would do better in a good **fast** Frigate (while continuing to Skill up). You can kill Cruisers in a Frigate with good Skil...

10. Scanner without probes? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Actually, you can get the range and direction of someone, at least a good approximation, by varying the range and scan angle of the scanner. But you can't use it to warp to where they are, especially if they're at a safe spot. You'd need probes fo...

19. Quick question relating to Pod Death - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Also be aware that by ejecting, you void your ship's warranty. You don't get paid unless you're in the ship when it goes BOOM! So you have to decide what's more valuable, your implants or your ship's insurance payout. Best to decide ahead of time.
